Bob Clark stepped out of the clothing store on Rose Street in Edinburgh. He was wearing a flowered shirt with very large wide collars. He had on purple bell bottom pants. He had on “Beatle Boots” of a brown, reddish color. Perhaps cordovan. He was wearing a pair of aviator sunglasses. He was holding a bag from the clothing store. In the bag were all of the clothing and shoes he had been wearing when he entered the store. “Straight” clothing of the period. He dropped the bag carefully into a trash can nearby.
He was a “storekeeper” in the Navy. He was from Hackensack, New Jersey. He was in the naval reserve,
He had never been out of the country, in fact he had never been anywhere except New Jersey and New York. His father left home when he was five. He was raised by his mother and grandmother. He had a small dog named Pickles.
