“Catch a frog, cut it up and put some on your lure. It works.”
We were deep in the wilderness of LaV. Provincial Park in Quebec.

“Where will you be taking the canoes?”
“Only locally”, said Cliff, lying his ass off.
We were driving about four hundred miles into another country and canoeing about a hundred mile circuit with many portages. We would beat the shit out of those canoes.

Brothers Canoe Trip.
As I reflect on this trip, it is hard to believe Cliff and Jimmy are dead and have been dead for a while.
Cliff died in a car accident thirty years ago. He founded Eden Foods with two other men. One man had business acumen, the other had food knowledge.
“What did Cliff have?”
Jimmy said, “Cliff had five hundred thousand dollars in his basement and brass balls.”
