I came to it by train and when I left, I left by train.
The best part about the train from Glasgow was the coffee service . Two large silver pots.
“White or black?”
“I’ll have white”, I wasn’t exactly sure what I was ordering.
Simultaneously the two pots poured into a cup. One was steaming hot coffee and the other was steaming hot milk. It was hot and delicious.

I walked from the train to the main street of Montrose with my sea bag over my shoulder. I walked into a pub called the Tally Ho. I wanted to order what the locals order so I had a pint of “Heavy.”
It is a dark lager, not too strong. The lass sitting next to me said, “If you were a man , you would have one of these.” She glanced down at her bottle, Carlsberg Special.
I said to the barmaid, “Change it to a Carlsberg Special.” It was strong and good.
“My name’s Aaron”, I said. “What’s yours?”
“My name’s Melissa Ann, they call me ‘boppin Annie”.
“”Oh.” I replied.

A somewhat lightly surprising and humorous introduction to, what I am guessing, is another story altogether! Thanks for posting.
